The Mediating Role of Emotion Regulation in the Relationship between Self-Compassion and Subjective Well-Being in School in Secondary School Students

This study focuses on the mediating role of emotion regulation in relationship between self-compassion and subjective well-being school secondary students. The Brief Adolescents’ Subjective Well-Being School Scale, Self-Compassion Scale for Adolescents Emotion Regulation were administered to a sample 415 adolescents (48.9% females 51.1% ma-les). data was analysed with correlation analysis regression-based mediation inves-tigate regulation, school. Furthermore, bootstrap method used examine direct indirect effects model. findings showed that internal functional external dysfunctional which are sub-dimensions have effect at results obtained discussed context relevant literature.
